王东宇2016年博士毕业于日本东京大学,回国以来先后在中国科学院上海药物研究所和上海交通大学进行工作。多年来,在有机合成方法学和药物化学方面开展研究,围绕惰性化学键的切断、多样性碳杂键的构筑以及药物分子结构修饰方面开展了深入的研究工作,得到了国内外许多学者的高度评价。目前以第一或通讯作者发表SCI论文十余篇,其中包括iScience、Angew. Chem.、Nat. Commun.、JACS等顶级期刊。目前已主持国家自然科学基金青年基金、科技部新药创制重大专项等多项课题。目前已主持国家自然科学基金青年基金(25万元)、科技部新药创制重大专项(150万元)等多项课题。独立培养的硕士研究生已在Org. Lett.等杂志发表多篇论文。
